november bunco

ahoy, matey! last night was bunco night at michele's house. we had so much fun! PIRATE was the theme -- ARRR! the rum was flowing (wine, actually) and the dice were rolling. we missed wilma and stephanie c but we had marlene and debbie d in their place. michele made some yummy chili with all the fixings and salad for us to eat. brownies were for dessert. YO HO HO! it was all good. thank you, michele! :)

shiver me timbers! julie rolled the MOST BUNCOS (5). marlene had the MOST WINS (14) and took home the $20 prize -- subs always win. mary had the 2ND MOST WINS of the night and took home $10. winner winner chicken dinner. laura had the MOST LOSSES (13) and got her $5 back. the LAST BUNCO prize went to ginny -- a lovely candle set.

next month's bunco will be held at mary's house and it's CHRISTMAS BUNCO!!! we're going to do the "left/right" game and everybody should bring a $20 wrapped gift. no gift cards.

ARRR!!! it's time again for BUNCO -- wednesday, november 12th. the place be MICHELE'S.

AHOY MATEYS! it has been declared that the RUM will be flowing and the DICE will be rolling -- it's time for bunco again.

SHIVER ME TIMBERS mateys and bring your best PIRATE gear! it might be a bit cold for walking the plank but that won't stop the heat from the dice.

if you can't make it please let MICHELE know so we can find a new FIRST MATE!

october bunco

last night was bunco night at darlene's house. BUNCTOBERFEST was the theme and there was plenty of german fare to be had -- sausage, baked chicken, potatoes, green beans, sauerkraut, and soft pretzels. we enjoyed marlene's homemade GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE for dessert.

marlene subbed for stephanie c and crystal for liz. like always, the subs won. marlene shared MOST WINS with mary and each took home $15. crystal threw the LAST BUNCO and got some lovely sterling silver SILPADA margarita earrings. sherry won MOST BUNCOS and darlene won MOST LOSSES. if there was a prize for BEST DRESSED, wilma would have won it with her authentic austrian frock.

then there were the drinking games. every time all the same number was rolled, drink! any three numbers in order, drink! even more silliness happened when the "chicken dance" song came on and we all flapped our wings, wiggled our tails, and rolled the dice! we went through three bottles of wine and a whole lotta beer. :)

september bunco

HAPPY BIRTHDAY was the theme for tonight's bunco at wilma's house! no brooke or julie so marlene and patricia got to play. we enjoyed pasta salad, potato salad, deviled eggs, homemade fudge and a pretty BARBIE BIRTHDAY CAKE! we had three birthday celebrants this month: mary, sherry and stephanie c. we even played a party game where we had to line up in order of our birthdays -- without talking!

marlene won LAST BUNCO of the night and took home some cute mugs and a BUNCO BABE tshirt! ginny won the roll-off for 2ND MOST WINS when she tied with steph c, wilma and patricia. michele won the roll-off for MOST LOSSES with darlene. each had 13 losses.
