FEBRUARY is the month of LOVE and what better way to celebrate than to have COUPLE'S BUNCO! Our gracious hostess for the evening was MARY who arranged a fabulous dinner from CARINO'S with lots of yummy appetizers and beverages. There were 16 players including husbands/guests and everybody came ready to play LCR (Left Center Right) instead of roll for BUNCOS.

The prize for LAST BUNCO of the night was a pretty basket filled with MOVIE TICKETS and other goodies.

January 2011

JANUARY BUNCO was held at BROOKE's house and the theme for the night was Texas A&M Aggies! We enjoyed a delicious dinner of PORK LOIN, mashed potatoes with goat cheese, soup and RUM CAKE! We had three subs ~ TERRI, HOLLY and LAURA.

STEPHANIE, LAURA, GINNY and MICHELE rolled off for MOST BUNCOS with LAURA ultimately taking home the top prize. MARY beat out MARLENE in the roll off for MOST LOSSES of the night. DARLENE's prize for the LAST BUNCO was CASH. It was decided that FEBRUARY BUNCO we will play LCR instead of BUNCO. It's also Couple's Bunco so the husbands are invited.

SEPTEMBER BUNCO was at DARLENE's house. WILMA was out of town so SHELLY, a friend of darlene's, subbed. comfort food was on the menu -- pot roast with potatoes and carrots -- along with salad and a pumpkin pie trifle for dessert. Highlights of the night were MARY rolling 14 3's in a row and STEPHANIE rolling 3 buncos in 1 round. we enjoyed MENAGE A TROIS and MIDDLE SISTER wines as well as LAND SHARK, SHINER and BUD LIGHT beer. we must have had a lot of fun because we drank all the liquor. LAURA won last bunco of the night and took home two pretty fall candles.

JULY BUNCO took place at TRICIA's home in tomball. the night started off with some delicious sausage stars and chips with white queso. we also enjoyed a mexican casserole and a pretty bundt cake for dessert. the wine and landsharks were plentiful. then it was time to get our game on! BROOKE couldn't make it so trish's sister-in-law ANITA subbed.

the prize for the LAST BUNCO of the night was a pretty magnetic necklace. lots of good music -- michael jackson and justin timberlake ("get your BUNCO back!") just to name a couple. we also called WILMA's husband to wish him a happy birthday -- twice! as always, it was a fun night filled with lots of chatting and silliness -- props to TRICIA on hosting her very first bunco! next month's bunco will be at GINNY's. :)

june bunco was at JULIE's house and as always, a good time was had by all. lots of good stuff to eat and drink including homemade sour cream CHICKEN ENCHILADAS and blue margaritas! MICHELE couldn't play so we had one sub, THERESA.

two members recently retired from the best bunco group ever so we inducted two new members — MARLENE and PATRICIA. both were officially initiated with the SECRET HANDSHAKE.
