the BEST BUNCO GROUP EVER played at MICHELE's house tonite. we feasted on brisket, coleslaw, potato salad, beans and marshmallow salad. we drank WINE and beer. and we also rolled some dice. CASSIE won most buncos with FIVE (subs always win). she won the roll-off with MICHELE who ended up with MOST WINS. 2nd most wins went to GINNY. i had the most losses. THIRTEEN. and for the record, we only play 18 rounds. JULIE got LAST BUNCO of the night and scored a fancy new purse, a pretty candle and a $5 SUBWAY gift card.

the BEST BUNCO GROUP EVER gathered at WILMA's house for OCTOBER BUNCO. everyone came dressed in their HALLOWEEN best. even the house was dressed up. everyone had a great time -- especially when they rolled a BUNCO and got to wear the SCARECROW hat! LAURA rolled the last bunco of the night and took home a SPOOKY bag of tricks filled will all kinds of halloween goodies. BOO!

SEPTEMBER BUNCO was held at BROOKE'S house this month. we were missing the BUNCO BOX but that didn't stop us. STEPHANIE C eventually found it though. we feasted on chicken pasta casserole, fresh bread and salad and drank BLACK BOX wine. we celebrated STEPHANIE C's and MARY's birthdays with a homemade strawberry cake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, girls! by the way, we should really work on our singing. i'm just sayin'...

lots of subs... MARLENE, DEBBIE, KIM, our newest neighbor on the circle, and HOLLY, brooke's neighbor, subbed for the missing WILMA, STEPHANIE S, MICHELE and SHERRY. we had so much fun. someone even wet their pants. okay, she didn't REALLY wet her pants but her pants were wet. oh, nevermind...

lots of ties... the prize for MOST BUNCOS went to GINNY who tied with JULIE. they each rolled 4 buncos. MARY and HOLLY split 1st and 2nd most wins and each took home $15. $5 went to DARLENE who tied with LIZ for most losses (12). KIM rolled the LAST BUNCO and got a STARBUCKS gift card! the subs always win... ;)

AUGUST BUNCO was held at GINNY's house. a fantastic night of bunco it was. thank you, GINNY, for the yummy seafood gumbo and good time! once we finished eating, it was time to roll some dice. here were the winners of the night...

GINNY had a beautiful cake made for LIZ and her family to commemorate their moving. we'll miss seeing you all on the circle — liz, dean, brayden, darien, and kendall — but hopefully we'll still be seeing you around! :)

JULY BUNCO took place at SHERRY's house. it was our FIRST OFFICIAL OUTDOOR BUNCO ever -- and it was POOLSIDE!!! there was even a TABLE in the pool. bunco babe JORUNN happened to be back in town from norway for a visit and played with us. we all enjoyed a delicious dinner served to us by sherry's lovely family and yummy APPLE DUMPLINGS were for dessert. MICHELE won LAST BUNCO of the night and took home some assorted summery goodies. here were the lucky winners this month...

june bunco was at JULIE's house. MARLENE and DEBBIE D subbed for MARY and STEPHANIE S. we had a big salad with grilled CHICKEN and lots of fresh veggies for dinner. julie's new WINE AERATOR was a big hit. we finished the night off with a CHOCOLATE trifle dessert.

mary dropped in on her way to dinner with her family so we were able to give her the james avery necklace we all pitched in to get so she could wear it to her mother's funeral on saturday. we love you, mary!

uno, dos, tres! MAY BUNCO was at darlene's house. APRIL showers bring MAY flowers... and MARGARITAS was the theme for the night. MARLENE subbed for GINNY. we snacked on tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, fresh fruit, and shrimp cocktail. we drank BLACK BOX wine and MARGARITAS. we chowed down on chicken enchiladas and SPANISH RICE. a STRAWBERRY MARGARITA CAKE was for dessert. olé!
